Children's Church
Mission of our Children’s Church & Sunday school ministries is to invest in the spiritual health of our children and prepare them for facing spiritual issues in their teenage and adult years.
If you have children, the greatest legacy you can leave them is to be spiritually healthy in a very troubled world. You and your children are invited to attend our Living Waters Church!
Our Children’s Church is divided into three age groups with qualified teachers for each. These are ages 2-5 years; 6-9 years; and 10 -13 years. At age 14, children attend worship service with adults.

SALVATION
Salvation provided by Jesus’ death on the cross & resurrection.

BIBLE KNOWLEDGE
Bible knowledge of the primary stories and characters in the Bible and basic Christian doctrine.

WORSHIP
Worship that includes praise of God, singing, scripture reading.
​
IMPORTANCE OF CHRISTIAN FRIENDSHIPS
Importance of Christian friendships and how to wisely choose their friends.
​
PERSONAL EVANGELISM
Personal Evangelism that includes skills to witness to their peers about the love of God.

CHRISTIAN SERVICE
Christian Service involvement in church and community.
​
CHURCH COMMITMENT
Church Commitment as an active member of our congregation including participation in Easter, Christmas and Vacation Bible School activities.

LEARNING TO PRAY
Learning to Pray based on Biblical principles.

DEVOTIONAL HABITS
Devotional Habits including daily time with God at home in prayer, meditation and devotional reading.

MISSION AWARENESS
Mission Awareness including giving and praying for others.

STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship that involves giving to God their time, talents and treasures (finances)

SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION
Scripture Memorization and understanding of key excerpts from the Bible.

NURSERY
We have a Nursery available to all parents. (Adult worship services are shown in Nursery through use of video equipment.)
Volunteer workers can also keep infants in Nursery at parents’ request so parents can attend adult worship services in our sanctuary.
Annually, we send our children free of charge to Summer Church Camp and host overnight Vacation Bible School in August. Every Sunday, we provide Children’s Church and Sunday school programs.

Our children participate in annual Easter, Homecoming and Christmas Programs including playing in the Bell Choir, drama presentations and singing. We believe that children should be taught in a participatory environment because of these learning principles:
